Review Preparation
What to send for a payment operations review.
CertumCore can usually begin with one recent processor statement. Additional records help when the concern involves deposits, adjustments, keyed activity, or changes across periods.
The objective is to provide enough evidence to compare expected behavior against observed payment activity without sending unnecessary sensitive data.
Best starting records
- recent processor statement
- monthly fee summary
- settlement or deposit report
- batch summary if settlement is the concern
- screenshot of confusing line item, notice, or adjustment
- rough monthly card volume and transaction count
Match the record to the question
Fees increased
Send a processor statement, fee summary, adjustment detail, and prior-period statement if available.
Deposits do not match
Send settlement reports, batch summaries, deposit screenshots, and the related processor statement.
Keyed activity changed
Send transaction mix summaries, keyed/manual reports, or processor statement sections showing card-present versus keyed behavior.
PCI fee appeared
Send the statement page showing the PCI-related fee or notice and any processor communication about validation status.
Redaction guidance
Keep business-level payment evidence visible: fee names, totals, dates, processor names, batch identifiers, settlement dates, and transaction category summaries.
Remove unnecessary customer names, full card numbers, bank login information, and unrelated personal data. If redaction makes a document hard to understand, include a short note explaining what was removed.
