These Terms of Service govern the use of services provided by CertumCore LLC ("CertumCore"). By purchasing, requesting, or using CertumCore services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
CertumCore provides independent payment operations review services designed to improve visibility into payment behavior, payment costs, settlement activity, operational drift, and related payment-processing observations.
Services may include review of:
- processor statements
- settlement reports
- fee summaries
- payment activity records
- manual or keyed transaction activity
- PCI-related notices
- payment-related operational observations
2. Scope Limitation
CertumCore reviews are limited to the records, information, reports, statements, systems, screenshots, and materials provided within the scope of the engagement.
CertumCore does not represent that unreviewed records, transactions, systems, reports, business processes, or conditions have been examined.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and relevant records necessary to support the review engagement.
Customers represent that they have the right to provide submitted records and materials for review.
Customers should avoid submitting full payment card numbers, passwords, authentication secrets, or unnecessary sensitive information.
4. Service Delivery
A service engagement is considered delivered when CertumCore provides findings, observations, recommendations, reports, summaries, communications, or other engagement-related output to the customer.
Delivery may occur through email, electronic documents, customer communications, reports, presentations, or other documented means.
5. Customer Acknowledgment
Customers acknowledge that they are purchasing professional review, analysis, verification, and operational visibility services.
Payment is for the review process, analysis, findings, observations, recommendations, and related deliverables.
Customers acknowledge that purchasing services from CertumCore does not guarantee financial savings, processor changes, fee reductions, business improvements, or specific outcomes.
6. No Guaranteed Financial Outcome
CertumCore does not guarantee:
- cost savings
- fee reductions
- processor corrections
- regulatory outcomes
- business outcomes
- recovery of fees from third parties
- future payment performance
Findings are based upon reviewed records and the scope of the engagement.
7. Not Legal, Tax, Accounting, or Compliance Advice
CertumCore provides operational review and payment-related observations.
Services are informational in nature and do not constitute:
- legal advice
- tax advice
- accounting advice
- regulatory advice
- PCI certification
- formal compliance assessment
8. Payments
Payments may be processed through Stripe or other approved payment providers.
Customers may also be subject to applicable payment processor terms, policies, and payment-processing requirements.
9. Refund Policy
Refund requests are governed by the CertumCore Refund Policy.
10. Billing Questions and Disputes
Customers agree to contact CertumCore regarding billing concerns, payment questions, or service issues before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute whenever reasonably possible.
CertumCore will make reasonable efforts to address customer concerns directly.
11. Records and Communications
CertumCore may retain engagement-related communications, submitted records, invoices, payment records, findings, reports, and service-delivery records for operational, compliance, dispute-resolution, business, and recordkeeping purposes.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertumCore's total liability arising out of or relating to a service engagement shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes to These Terms
CertumCore may update these Terms of Service periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this website.
